On weekdays the area bustles with activity — business people, security, money atmosphere. Weekends are quiet and empty. For bull photos — early morning before 8:00 AM, otherwise expect lines. Fewer tourists in winter.
Subway: 2, 3 lines to Wall St; 4, 5 to Wall St; J, Z to Broad St; R, W to Rector St. Can also walk from Staten Island Ferry Terminal (free ferry).
Walk through narrow streets of the financial district surrounded by skyscrapers. The NYSE building with columns is impressive but you cannot go inside. The bull statue is always surrounded by tourists. Nearby — Trinity Church (1846) and 9/11 Memorial is 10 minutes walk.

Unfortunately, the NYSE trading floor has been closed to regular visitors since 9/11. You can view the building from outside. The free Federal Hall Museum is open nearby.
Useful tips for visiting Wall Street
For Charging Bull photos without crowds, come early morning or late evening. The statue is on Broadway at Bowling Green, not on Wall Street itself.
