Waikiki Aquarium is the third oldest public aquarium in the United States, operated by the University of Hawaii. Small but excellent, it focuses on Hawaiian and tropical Pacific marine life, including endangered Hawaiian monk seals, living coral reefs, and the giant Pacific octopus.
General admission $12, children (5-13) $5, under 5 free. Discounts for Hawaii residents (kamaaina) and military. Admission includes mobile audio guide. Allow 1-2 hours for visit.
