Vallee de Mai
Vallee de Mai is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and the second Seychelles site to be inscribed on the list. This unique primeval forest spans 19.5 hectares and hosts the world's largest population of the endemic coco de mer palm, which bears the largest seed in the plant kingdom (up to 25 kg). The forest is home to rare endemic birds including the black parrot and Seychelles bulbul. Free guided tours at 9am and 2pm daily. Entry fee Rs320 goes toward conservation of the site and Aldabra Atoll.
