Uzungol is about 99 km southeast of Trabzon. The drive takes approximately 1.5-2 hours by car. Regular minibuses also depart from Trabzon's main station.
New Uzungol Cable Car (2.5 km) opened, reaching Mount Demirkaya summit at 1,650m. A 50-hectare Ecological Park with walking paths and a suspension bridge was also established.
