Unter den Linden
Unter den Linden is Berlin's most famous boulevard, stretching from the Brandenburg Gate to Museum Island. Lined with historic linden trees, it features numerous significant landmarks including the State Opera, Humboldt University, Neue Wache memorial, and the Frederick the Great monument. Dating back to the 17th century when it was a horse path to the royal hunting grounds, it remains the cultural heart of the city and perfect for a historic walking tour.
