Uminonakamichi Seaside Park
Uminonakamichi Seaside Park is a sprawling 290-hectare family-oriented park on a narrow peninsula across Hakata Bay from central Fukuoka. It features flower gardens with millions of narcissus, tulips, nemophila, roses, sunflowers, and cosmos depending on season. The 'Animal Forest' houses 50 species and 500 animals with hands-on interaction opportunities. 'Sea Dragoon' is Kyushu's tallest athletic tower with 92 installations. 'Sunshine Pool' complex is western Japan's largest pool resort open in summer. Marine World aquarium across the tracks requires separate admission. Bicycle rentals available for exploring the 4km-long park.
