Uetliberg
Uetliberg is Zurich's own mountain at 871 meters above sea level, offering breathtaking panoramic views over the city, the lake, and the snow-dusted Alps. It's easily accessible by S10 train from the main station. At the summit, there are several vantage points, a restaurant, picnic areas, Hotel Uto Kulm, and the Uetliberg Tower. Popular hiking trails include the Planet Trail stretching nearly 6 km between Uetliberg and Felsenegg mountains, taking about two hours to complete. The mountain is particularly popular in November when the summit is often above the blanket of fog that envelops the city. Tower climb costs CHF 5 but isn't significantly better than the free view from below.
