Turtle Beach is a protected sea turtle nesting site located on the eastern coast of Perhentian Besar island. The beach stretches approximately 350 meters and consists of two charming bays separated by natural rocks. During night hours from 9PM to 5AM, green sea turtles come ashore to lay their eggs. Access is prohibited after 6PM to protect the nesting turtles. The beach is accessible only by water taxi or rented kayak from the main beaches. There are no facilities on the beach which preserves its wild character. A unique place to observe marine life in its natural habitat.
