Triumphal Arch

The Triumphal Arch is a 27-meter monument celebrating Romanias victory in World War I. The current granite structure dates from 1936, designed by architect Petre Antonescu. The interior features a viewing platform accessible by 167 steps. Originally built in wood in 1878, it was rebuilt multiple times before the current permanent version.
