Trinity Lavra of St. Sergius
The largest male monastery of the Russian Orthodox Church and spiritual center of Russia. Founded in 1337 by St. Sergius of Radonezh. The architectural ensemble includes over 50 buildings from the 14th-18th centuries, including Trinity Cathedral with icons by Andrei Rublev. UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1993. Houses the relics of St. Sergius of Radonezh.
