Trevi Fountain
The Trevi Fountain is the largest and most famous Baroque fountain in the world, standing 26.3 meters high and 49 meters wide. Designed by Nicola Salvi and completed in 1762, it depicts the sea god Oceanus on a chariot pulled by seahorses. Legend says throwing a coin over your left shoulder ensures your return to Rome. About 3,000 EUR in coins are collected daily - donated to charity.
