The tram itself is safe, but pickpockets specifically target tourists on crowded E28 trams. Keep valuables secure, hold bags in front, and stay alert especially near exits.
Useful tips for visiting Tram 28
In summer arrive by 7am to avoid heat and crowds. Bring minimum 2 liters of water per person. Comfortable shoes are essential. Sunset is beautiful but return path in dark is challenging.
