Toompea - Castle and Viewpoints
Toompea is the 50-meter limestone hill at the heart of Tallinn, home to the 13th-century Toompea Castle that now houses the Estonian Parliament and two outstanding viewing platforms. Kohtuotsa platform offers a panoramic view over the Old Town red rooftops and towers with Tallinn Bay in the background. Patkuli platform provides a closer perspective on the defensive walls and surrounding towers. The parliament building can be visited on free guided tours on Fridays in summer with a valid photo ID. Both platforms are accessible around the clock and offer the best photography spots in Tallinn
