Free entry. A canto from Divine Comedy is read aloud daily. Adjacent Dante Museum is paid (5 EUR).

Dante was exiled from Florence in 1302 due to political conflicts. He spent his final years in Ravenna as a guest of Lord Polenta and died there in 1321. Ravenna has refused Florence's requests for his remains.
