Tiran Island
A legendary world-famous dive site in the Straits of Tiran - four major coral reefs named after British cartographers: Jackson, Woodhouse, Thomas, and Gordon. Strong currents bring nutrient-rich water that attracts sharks, rays, and sea turtles. Diving here is for experienced divers only due to the currents - certification required. Daily boat trips depart from Naama Bay, taking about 2 hours each way. Snorkeling is possible at calmer spots. The coral walls drop dramatically into the deep blue, creating an unforgettable underwater landscape.
