Tiger Cave Temple

Tiger Cave Temple (Wat Tham Suea) is a sacred Buddhist site north of Krabi Town, famous for its steep staircase of 1,237 steps leading to the summit of a 278-meter limestone tower. The view from the top is breathtaking and worth the effort, offering a 360-degree panorama of Krabi, its tropical rainforest, and coastline. The temple is revered for tiger paw prints in the cave, tall Buddha statues, and the peaceful spiritual atmosphere. Meditation caves and a forest monastery complete the complex.
