A 4th-century BCE circular temple that is the most photographed building in Delphi and a symbol of ancient Greece. Three of its original twenty Doric columns have been reconstructed, creating an iconic image against the mountain backdrop. Its original purpose is unknown, but it's part of the Athena sanctuary separate from the main site.
