Thien Mu Pagoda
Thien Mu Pagoda, or the Pagoda of the Celestial Lady, is the unofficial symbol of Hue city. Built in 1601 on a hill overlooking the Perfume River, its landmark is the seven-story Phuoc Duyen Tower standing 21 meters tall. The pagoda also houses the famous Austin car that transported monk Thich Quang Duc to Saigon in 1963. It remains an active Buddhist site attracting pilgrims and tourists alike.
