Tequila Town
Tequila is the birthplace of Mexico's national drink, located 60 km from Guadalajara. The region hosts about 150 registered distilleries, with 20 in the town itself. The blue agave landscape is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Visitors can tour famous distilleries like Jose Cuervo (since 1758) and Casa Sauza, taste tequila, and enjoy mariachi music. The Jose Cuervo Express train runs weekends.
