Temple of All Religions

Unique architectural complex combining elements of 16 world religions including Orthodox church, mosque, synagogue, and Buddhist temple. Built by artist Ildar Khanov starting in 1992. Not an active place of worship but a symbol of unity and tolerance. Colorful and surreal architecture.

How to Get There

Located in Staroye Arakchino village near Kazan. Buses 2, 45 from 'Gorki' metro station to 'Staroye Arakchino' stop — 30 min. Suburban train from Kazan-1 to 'Staroye Arakchino' platform — 15 min. Taxi from Kazan center — 400-500 rubles. Free entry to grounds.
