Tempelhof Field
Tempelhof Field is one of the world's largest urban open spaces - a former airport transformed into a public park in 2010. Visitors can skate and cycle on the former concrete runways, fly kites, picnic, practice yoga, do urban gardening, and birdwatch. Its 386 hectares provide a rare sense of freedom and openness in the middle of Berlin. Berliners love to skate, ride bikes, walk dogs, and simply enjoy the vast open sky. Opening hours vary by season from 6am-10:30pm in summer.
