Tatra National Park
Tatra National Park protects the Polish part of the High Tatras, the highest mountain range in the Carpathians. Spanning 212 square kilometers, it features 275 km of marked trails through spectacular landscapes: crystal-clear mountain lakes, deep valleys, waterfalls, caves, and alpine meadows. The park is home to rare wildlife including brown bears, wolves, chamois, and golden eagles. Trails range from easy routes like the road to Morskie Oko to challenging climbs requiring chains and metal ladders. Since March 2025, the standardized entrance fee is 10 PLN per person per day
