Ta Nei
Ta Nei is a small, charming Buddhist temple from the late 12th century, built by King Jayavarman VII near the northwest corner of the East Baray. It is believed to have been part of the hospital network created by the king. The temple features Bayon style with beautiful devata reliefs and scenes from Buddha's life and Jataka tales. Despite its small size, Ta Nei retains an abandoned heritage atmosphere with moss and roots covering many outer areas, reminiscent of Ta Prohm on a smaller scale.
