Su Nuraxi
Su Nuraxi is the most important and largest Nuragic site in Sardinia, a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1997. This massive stone complex dates to the 15th century BC and consists of a central tower surrounded by four towers and huge walls. The mysterious Nuragic civilization that built over 7,000 towers across the island still puzzles scientists. The site reveals remarkably advanced construction techniques for that era.
