Storms River Mouth is the most famous destination in Tsitsikamma, where the Storms River meets the Indian Ocean in a dramatic gorge. The suspension bridges spanning the gorge are the most photographed icon of the Garden Route. Access requires a 1 km walk (1014 steps) through the forest. The view is worth the effort with stunning rock formations and turquoise waters. Early morning offers the best light and fewer visitors.
