The Stone Chariot of Hampi is a 16th-century chariot-shaped shrine dedicated to Garuda (Vishnu's carrier). Made entirely of granite, its wheels were originally rotatable. Featured on India's 50-rupee note. Considered one of the finest examples of Vijayanagara architecture and Hampi's most photographed landmark.
