In summer, it's used for rowing and swimming, while in winter it transforms into an arena for ice sports events including horse racing, polo on ice, and cricket matches. The walking path around the lake provides a peaceful experience with views of snow-capped mountains. The frozen lake has hosted spectacular events since 1907.
