St. Beatus Caves are one of Switzerland's largest cave systems, stretching 14 kilometers inside the mountain. One kilometer is open for public tours, showcasing impressive stalactite and stalagmite formations millions of years old. Legend says Saint Beatus expelled a dragon from the cave in the 6th century.
