The Spanish Riding School is the oldest haute école riding academy in the world, dating to 1572. It presents stunning performances of the famous white Lipizzan horses in the baroque Winter Riding School hall inside the Hofburg. Riders and horses perform complex ballet-like movements reflecting centuries of classical riding traditions.
