Sokolniki Park
Sokolniki Park is one of Moscow's largest parks, preserving the charm of a historic estate while offering modern entertainment. The name comes from falconry that Russian tsars practiced here.
The park is famous for its radial alleys fanning out from the central circle. Visitors can rent bicycles, rollerblades, scooters, and in winter — skis and skates. Tennis courts and a rope park are available.
Sokolniki hosts city festivals, fairs, and exhibitions. The rose garden with thousands of rose bushes is one of the park's most romantic spots. A congress and exhibition center is located nearby.
