Sinaia Monastery is a 17th-century Orthodox monastery founded by nobleman Mihai Cantacuzino after his pilgrimage to Mount Sinai. It features two churches - the Old Church (1695) and New Church (1846) - with beautiful Byzantine frescoes. The monastery gave the entire town of Sinaia its name and remains an active spiritual center welcoming both pilgrims and tourists.
