Sheesh Mahal
Sheesh Mahal (Palace of Mirrors) is a Mughal-era palace built in 1653 by Izz-un-Nissa, wife of Emperor Shah Jahan. Reopened to the public in July 2025 after extensive restoration following centuries of closure. It was the site of Emperor Aurangzeb's coronation in 1658. Features red sandstone walls, Mughal pavilions, landscaped gardens, and heritage cottages. Now includes Café Shalimar.
