Schynige Platte is a hiker's paradise at 1,967 meters, accessible via a historic cogwheel train from 1893. The Alpine Garden houses over 650 Swiss plant species. From here, enjoy panoramic views of the Eiger, Mönch, and Jungfrau peaks, and access some of the region's most famous hiking trails including the classic route to Faulhorn and First. The area is relatively quiet compared to other tourist destinations in the region.
