Benrath Palace is a masterpiece of late Baroque and Rococo architecture, built between 1755 and 1773 for Elector Carl Theodor. The pink palace is famous for its perfect symmetry and 61-hectare French and English gardens. It houses three museums: Museum of European Garden Art, Natural History Museum and Palace tours. The large pond in front creates stunning reflections for photography.
