St. Peter's Church is Malmö's oldest building, dating back to the 14th century. It's a masterpiece of Gothic brick architecture in the Hanseatic style. Its tall tower is visible from almost everywhere in the city, and the walls are adorned with wonderfully preserved medieval frescoes. The Merchants' Chapel inside offers a glimpse of what the church looked like in medieval times.
