How to Get There
Samtavro Monastery is in Mtskheta, 20 km from Tbilisi. From Tbilisi, marshrutka from Didube station (1 GEL, 20 minutes). Taxi from Tbilisi about 25-35 GEL. 10-minute walk from Mtskheta center to monastery. Svetitskhoveli Cathedral and Jvari Monastery (on hill) nearby. Can combine all sights in half day. Free entry.
