Saint-Trophime Church
Saint-Trophime Church is a 12th-century Romanesque masterpiece named after the first bishop of Arles. The intricately carved west portal is among the finest examples of Romanesque sculpture in Provence, depicting the Last Judgment with remarkable detail. The church witnessed Emperor Frederick Barbarossa's coronation in 1178. The adjacent cloister features stunning Romanesque and Gothic arcades with carved capitals. UNESCO World Heritage since 1981. Church entry is free; cloister requires a ticket.
