Sail Rock is the most iconic landmark of the Similan Islands, a massive granite rock formation at the northern tip of Koh Similan (Island #8). The 20-minute hiking trail through the forest to the top of the rock offers breathtaking panoramic views of Donald Duck Bay and surrounding islands. The climb involves steep sections with rope assists and may not be suitable for elderly visitors or those with mobility issues.
Entry included in national park fee. Bring good shoes and water.
Morning for cooler temperatures and softer light for photography. December to April for best weather.
