The Ruta de las Cascadas is Baños' most famous adventure - a 61 km biking route connecting the Andean highlands to lowland jungles along the Pastaza River valley. The route drops 1,000 meters and passes at least 12 stunning waterfalls including Manto de la Novia and Pailón del Diablo. Cycling is mostly downhill, making it suitable for all fitness levels.
