Rose Garden (Rosengarten)

The Rosengarten is a beautiful hillside park overlooking Bern Old Town, famous for its over 200 varieties of roses, 200 types of iris, and stunning panoramic views. Originally a cemetery until 1913, it was transformed into a public garden in 1913. The elevated position provides one of the best photo opportunities of the UNESCO Old Town with the Aare River loop and Alps in the background.
