Buy combined ticket with Colosseum online 2-3 weeks ahead - sells out fast! Ticket valid 24h for Forum/Palatine, timed for Colosseum. Visit early morning to avoid heat and crowds. Wear comfortable shoes - terrain is uneven. Free first Sunday is extremely crowded.
