The only Roman amphitheater in Egypt, dating from the 2nd century AD. It features 13 semicircular tiers of white and gray marble seating that could accommodate 800 spectators. Located at Kom El-Dikka, just steps from Alexandria train station, it is part of a larger archaeological site including Roman baths and residential areas.
