River Street
River Street is Savannah's historic waterfront along the Savannah River, featuring over 75 boutiques, galleries, restaurants and bars housed in former cotton warehouses. The street is paved with ballast stones once used in ships. Notable landmarks include the Waving Girl Statue, African-American Monument, World War II Memorial, and Olympic Cauldron. Riverboat cruises depart daily for sightseeing and dining experiences.
