Richard Wagner Museum
The Richard Wagner Museum is located in the historic Tribschen Manor where the famous German composer lived from 1866-1872. In this beautiful location on Lake Lucerne, Wagner composed some of his most famous works including parts of the Ring Cycle and Die Meistersinger. His famous friends Franz Liszt, Friedrich Nietzsche, and King Ludwig II visited him here. The museum displays original instruments, manuscripts, and personal memorabilia. The surrounding gardens are picturesque.
