Ria Formosa Natural Park
Ria Formosa Natural Park is one of Europe's most important natural habitats, stretching sixty kilometers along the Algarve coast. This remarkable protected area encompasses a system of barrier islands, lagoons, and salt marshes supporting exceptional biodiversity. It was voted one of Portugal's Seven Natural Wonders in 2010.
