Rhine Falls
Rhine Falls is the largest waterfall in Europe by water volume, located 40 km north of Zurich. At 150 meters wide and 23 meters high, it thunders 600 cubic meters of water per second during summer. The viewing platforms at Schloss Laufen offer spectacular vistas, while boat tours take you right up to the rock in the middle of the falls. A stunning natural wonder easily accessible as a day trip from Zurich.
