Useful tips for visiting Registan Square
Evening light show at 9pm (summer) - stunning! Go at sunrise to avoid crowds. Buy combo ticket for all Samarkand sites. Climb Ulugh Beg minaret for views (extra fee). Souvenirs cheaper outside the square.
