Reformation Wall
The Reformation Wall is a monumental 100-meter-long memorial built between 1909 and 1917 to honor the Protestant Reformation. At its center stand 5-meter-tall statues of the four main reformers: John Calvin, Guillaume Farel, Theodore Beza, and John Knox. The wall bears Geneva's motto 'Post Tenebras Lux' (After Darkness, Light) and depicts scenes from Reformation history. Located in the heart of the beautiful Parc des Bastions, it commemorates Geneva's role as the 'Protestant Rome.'
