Poznań Town Hall
Poznan Town Hall is one of the finest Renaissance buildings in Central Europe. Built in the 13th century and redesigned by Italian architect Giovanni Battista Quadro in the 16th century, it now houses the Museum of the History of Poznan. Visitors can explore the Great Hall with its ornate polychrome ceiling, the Royal Hall featuring a magnificent 1541 sandstone fireplace, and medieval cellars that once served as a prison. Above the clock, the famous mechanical goats appear every day at noon, butting heads in a beloved tradition dating back to the 16th century
