Pushkin Memorial Apartment on Arbat
The Pushkin Memorial Apartment on Arbat is the house where the great poet lived after his wedding to Natalia Goncharova in 1831. It's the only Moscow apartment of the poet preserved to this day.
The exhibition recreates the atmosphere of Pushkin's era and tells about the poet's Moscow period. The halls display personal belongings, manuscripts, first editions, and portraits of contemporaries.
The museum hosts literary evenings, chamber music concerts, and themed exhibitions. Arbat is a pedestrian street where you can stroll and visit other cultural attractions.
