Pushkin Memorial Apartment on Arbat

The Pushkin Memorial Apartment on Arbat is the house where the great poet lived after his wedding to Natalia Goncharova in 1831. It's the only Moscow apartment of the poet preserved to this day.

The exhibition recreates the atmosphere of Pushkin's era and tells about the poet's Moscow period. The halls display personal belongings, manuscripts, first editions, and portraits of contemporaries.

The museum hosts literary evenings, chamber music concerts, and themed exhibitions. Arbat is a pedestrian street where you can stroll and visit other cultural attractions.

Metro: Smolenskaya (blue or light blue line) — 5 min walk to Arbat start. Pushkin Memorial Apartment at 53 Arbat St. Also Arbatskaya station — 10 min. Buses A, m2, m27 to 'Smolenskaya Square' stop. Paid entry, tickets at box office or online.

Recommended to combine with a walk along Arbat. The museum is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays. Audio guides are available in several languages.

The museum is located on Arbat Street. The nearest metro stations are Smolenskaya and Arbatskaya. 5-10 minutes walk from the metro.

The apartment where Pushkin lived with his young wife Natalia Goncharova after their wedding in 1831. Authentic interiors and personal belongings of the poet. One of the most romantic museums in Moscow.

Outside you can take photos at the monument to Pushkin and Goncharova. The poet's study with authentic items is very atmospheric. The drawing room with Natalia's portrait is especially beautiful.
